Yes, it is. It is highly insulated and has a heating system for winter time.

We use SIP (Structurally Insulated Panels) and kiln-dried timber as a structural frame. All wood elements are FSC and PEFC certified, fire and bio treated. The panel itself consists of two 10-12mm OSB-3 with E1 formaldehyde emission class (allowed to be used in public, residential, medical premises) and 150mm (walls) - 200mm (floors and ceiling) self-extinguishing 17 kg/m3 EPS (expanded polystyrene).

EPS is a polymer, which we think and accept as a safe product of technology. Since it is synthetic material, It has probably unlimited life time when used in SIP and does not need to be replaced after traditional 25-30 years we know from using rockwool. EPS used in SIP does not negatively affect indoor air quality. When naked EPS products were tested for VOC emissions, the emissions proved to be below the most stringent regulatory limit values in countries with such regulation (mostly EU and US). Using high dense EPS in SIP reduces almost twice amount of lumber we use for structural framing since EPS is not only insulating but also structural element. Much less energy is spent for production of EPS compared to the production of the same amount of rockwool. EPS is HFC, CFC and HCFC free and Pentane is used as its blowing agent. Pentane has a low Global Warming Potential* (GWP) of less than five. (The EU does not register pentane as a substance hazardous to human health or the environment). Only 0.1% of total oil consumption is used to manufacture EPS. For more information on EPS, please see reference documents.

1.5kW Ballu Enzo electric wall convector is used as the main heat source. For more comfort, SuperPod also has electric heated floors in all areas including bathroom. As an option, standard wall convector can be changed to more advanced model with a wi-fi connection and can be controlled remotely from app. Also, the SuperPod can be heated by an optional inverter split system, which is the most effective solution.

It is colled by standart OTEX AC unit. As an option, we can provide you with Ballu Platinum Evolution inverter split system with heating function up to -20 outside temperature.

The base model of SuperPod has plywood facade installed on vent lathing. All plywood sheets are pre-painted with Tikkurila Valtti semi-transparent facade oil or opaque Tikkurila Pika-Teho paint. Color can be chosen from Tikkurila catalog.

SuperPod comes with a flat roof covered with PVC membrane. All kinds of water are drained down through a funnel and pipe which are heated during winter time.

We use anthracite grey five-chamber 76mm deep German made Salamander Streamline profile with a heat transfer resistance of 0.8 m2*C/W. Fittings – Winkhaus (Germany). Glazing – two-chamber 40mm (3 glasses of 4mm each), with ultra-transparent Guardian glass and energy-saving Guardian ClimaGuard N glass, covered with a special transparent coating that effectively retains heat in the room. Glasses have increased transparency and do not distort colors. In order to safely operate the SuperPod, the largest window comes with 3 layers of 6 mm thick tempered glass.

Entrance door – metal door with 1.5mm thick steel frame and two-chamber edge-to-edge glazing. Powder painted to RAL 7024. Door lock – cylindric Guardian 3221. Black matte door handle.

White painted MDF invisible door is used for bathroom.

We use only environmentally responsible materials that are safe for human and planet life. SuperPod core and interior finishing are assembled from materials that do not negatively affect the health. All core and interior materials, paints and oils are certified and do not exceed the E1 level in terms of formaldehyde emissions.

We apply gypsumboard to the interior walls of SuperPod and wrap them with glass-fiber before painting them with white mat washable paint. So we get seamless perfect joints and smooth surfaces.

We use 8mm 33 class beveled laminate flooring everywhere except bathroom. Color can be chosen from our typical palette.
As an option, we offer premium oak parquet flooring. Color can be chosen from our typical palette.

We do not use skirtings boards, but black matt microplinth instead.

Bathroom has Kerama Marazzi Temari white matt mosaic walls and Castello dark grey mosaic floor. Colors can not be chosen.

The bathroom has everything you may ever need. Sink with cabinet, Grohe faucets, shower head and toilet with in-wall carrier. Optionally, we install Marrbaxx sink specially designed to be installed over the washing machine.

Yes, it does. It comes with noiseless exhaust fan in bathroom and connection point for kitchen exhaust. As an option, we offer installing wall-mounted minimalist looking Mitsubishi Lossnay air handling unit (supply/exhaust) with capacity of 100m3/h and with recuperator (heat recovery) of up to 79% efficiency. It is installed in the center of main room. It has 2 levels of fan power. Sound pressure level at low level is 27dBA, and 38dBA at high. SuperPod can be installed on any kind of foundation. Most suitables are: ground screws, concrete blocks and slab on grade.
We provide you with all the necessary drawings and guides on prefered foundation type, so that you can prepare the foundation before your SuperPod is delivered to your site.

We believe that any building, whether it is made of brick or metal, but built initially from high-quality materials and with the observance of construction technology, will last at least 50 years, or even more. Of course, under the condition that owners will monitor it and timely carry out preventive and repair works. By agreement, we give a 25-year guarantee on all structural elements (timber, SIP) of SuperPod, and we do our best to make SuperPod stand for a longer time.

SuperPod is considered as an oversize cargo and can be transported only on low sided trawl with special permits. You must ensure driveway conditions before ordering SuperPod. Transportation cost of SuperPod depends on the distance of your site from our production shop. The exact cost of transportation is calculated by submitting an application to logistics companies.

SuperPod has 1P electrical, water supply and sewage connection points. All connection works are performed by Customer or its Contractor. We provide you with full guide on how to connect SuperPod to utilities before your SuperPod is delivered to your site.
